Evans Jones Solutions have a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated and compassionate Support Worker in Ammanford who have a passion to make a difference to the lives of the people we support.

Your role will involve supporting service users with practical and emotional care and support, enabling them to have fulfilled lives and gain further independence. It will include arranging and partaking in activities for the service users. You will need to be flexible to work shifts including bank holidays, weekends and potential sleep ins Preferable experience of working in a similar environment, but not essential as training is provided. Having the right attitude and values are key in this role.

Shifts available are:

The ideal candidate will have:

- NVQ/QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care or be willing to work towards this award

- Experience in supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex mental health issues, and some behaviours that challenge

- The ability to keep calm under pressure

- Confidence to work alone and as part of a team

- Excellent communication skills

-The passion, and commitment to make a difference - Bilingual Welsh/English speakers highly desirable

-Drivers licence and use of own are is essential
