Job Description
We are looking for caring and positive Relief Support Workers to join our service in Totnes where we support two gentlemen with a learning disability. Both gentleman live next to each other in the purpose built, brand new and spacious flat with a lovely view of Totnes river.
You will be responsible for the day today livelihood of these individuals and will help with medication, personal care, finances and daily living tasks.
It's really important that you are comfortable with providing personal care and working with individuals who have complex health needs. Rest assured our award winning training will ensure that you are prepared to be the best Support Worker that you can be!
As the people we support require assistance 24 hours a day you will expected to be flexible to work across a variety of shift patterns between 07.00 - 23.00 including sleep ins or waking nights, weekends and bank holidays. As you will part of the Relief team, it means shifts will be offered to you based on the gaps in the rota and service needs for Relief, you will not be on a set shift pattern and will not be guaranteed hours. This role is perfect for someone who does not have full flexibility for shifts and has other work, university or family commitments.
