Forget catering and event jobs! Koru Kids has the most rewarding part-time job for students over 18 all across London.

You are probably looking for something fun and rewarding, flexible yet stable, not too physically demanding, hopefully near you, that pays well, right?

Well. You’ve found it!

Koru Kids, London’s fastest-growing childcare start-up, is looking for friendly, committed students (no experience needed) to join our ever-growing team of part-time after school nannies across London.

You read it right. You can become an after school nanny starting today!

What you’ll be doing

We pair students with local families (always less than 30 minutes apart) that need a hand with their after school childcare, usually with kids between 4-11 years old (so no babies).

Every day is different and could involve anything from picking the kids up from school to helping out with homework or preparing simple meals. But it’s mostly having fun and playing games. We always help out with activity ideas so you’ll never be stuck doing the same every day.

What you WON’T be doing

  • Hard manual work & repetitive, tedious tasks
  • Who wants to heave heavy trays of dishes around for 8 hours straight?
  • Handle high pressure
  • Deal with unpleasant bosses
  • Work in nasty work environments that are far from you
  • No more back rooms and basements!
  • Work during night hours
  • No 3am finishes followed by an hour’s commute home.
  • Wait forever for more work calls

What you get:

  • £9 per hour, working between 3 to 5 afternoons a week.
  • A fun, rewarding and highly valuable work experience.
  • To work around your studies, without affecting your social life!
  • Being a role model for the children you care for and play a key role in their development.
  • Great references.

Any downsides?

None that we are aware of! We’ll just need the following from you before you are ready to start:

  • A background check (we get it done for you), identity confirmation and 2 personal references.
  • To complete a quick online training course (you can do it on the go).
  • Attend a paediatric first aid session at our awesome office (only once you’ve matched and agreed to work with a family).

How to apply:

Easy. Just click apply and fill out our 2-minute application form.
