I am keen to speak to people with experience in HR and internal recruitment who are looking to work on a part time basis. This is for a fixed term contract of 10 months to cover the maternity leave of the HR manager, starting May 15th. The is a stand-alone role, and will entail managing and advising on HR best practice and operations for a recruitment company of 45 people, including absence management, holiday bookings, employee relations, benefits, supporting line managers with performance management and appraisals, payroll and recruitment of any new internal staff (these staff tend to be recruitment professionals and administrative staff). There is also the capacity for the role holder to introduce new policies and procedures and to develop the HR function.
This is a part-time role which is initially envisaged to be 22.5 hours per week – 3 x 7.5 hour days, however there is flexibility with this for the right person in line with the needs of the business. Salary is £30,000 per annum, pro rata (negotiable for the right person). The role will continue until 15th March 2020, with the possibility of being extended. The role is office based, in High Holborn near to Holborn and Chancery Lane stations.
I am looking for someone with experience in a similar role, who is looking to work on a part time basis with a level of flexibility. CIPD qualification or similar would be preferred, but is not essential.

* Maintain holiday booking system, ensuring adequate cover in all teams

* Performance management including probation reviews and annual appraisals
* Inform Finance of any payroll changes on a monthly basis
* Other ad hoc duties as requested by senior management
* Previous experience in an HR role, ideally at advisor level or above
* People or team management experience desirable
* Available to work for from 15th May 2019 to 15th March 2020
